Rams Come Up Short in the NCCAA Semi-Final
The Columbia International University women's soccer team was back in action after some time off when the regular season ended. The Rams traveled to Franklin Springs, GA to take on Emmanuel College in the semi-final game of the NCCAA South Region Tournament. The Rams came into the game as the #3 seed, while the Lions were the #2 seed. The Rams would struggle to get the offense going and fell to the Lions by the final score of 1-0. The Rams finish the season with a record of 8-5-3.

The Lions would take the first shot of the game, but soon after that the Rams would get theirs as McKenzie Miller was able to get a shot on goal. Unfortunately, for the Rams the Lions next shot would find the back of the net. The Lions would score at 19:55 and take an early lead. The Lions would continue to put the pressure on the Rams back line and goalie Sam Wammock, but the Rams held strong and only went into half down by that one goal.

The Lions would continue to keep the pressure on the Rams as a majority of the game was played with the Lions attacking. In the second half the Rams were able to get two more shots as Miller sent one on goal and Janai McMaster had a shot go wide left. The Rams would try to even the score and force the game into overtime, but that just couldn't find the space past the Lions defense.
