Rams Fall to NCAA Division I Charleston Southern
After facing off against Campbell University on Monday the Rams took on another NCAA Division 1 member in Charleston Southern. The Rams traveled to Charleston for the game and this was the third year in a row that the Rams and Buccaneers have faced off. The Rams struggled out of the gate and the Buccaneers built an early lead that the Rams couldn't make up. The Buccaneers would beat the Rams by a final score of 98-58.

The Buccaneers would start the game on an 8-0 run over the first three minutes. A three from Jordan Dillingham would stop that run and give the Rams their first points of the game. The Buccaneers would go on another small run, but the Rams would cut the Buccaneers lead down to five after four points by Kameron Robinson. The Rams next points would come from a three by Micah Banks, but the Buccaneers would continue scoring and limiting the Rams on offense. The Rams offense struggled in the first half as they shot just 25% from the field and were down 50-26 at half.

The Buccaneers would get the first points of the second half as well, but another basket by Dillingham gave the Rams their first points of the half. The Buccaneers would go on a very long run to take a convincing lead over the Rams and finally at the 7:38 mark a layup by Druw Rollins would stop the run. The Rams offense would wake up late in the game, but it was a little late as the Buccaneers built a big lead and the Rams fell 98-58.

Columbia International would shot 34% (16-47) from the field, while Charleston Southern shot 52.9% (36-68)...The Rams shot an outstanding 90.9% from the free throw line...Kameron Robinson led the Rams with 20 points...Druw Rollins had 13 points and seven rebounds, while Jordan Dillingham was the other Rams to score in double figures with 12 points...Travis McConico led the Buccaneers with 16 points and nine rebounds.

Columbia International will be back in action on Saturday as they travel to Central, SC to take on Southern Wesleyan University. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m.
