Box Score Just one week after their first meeting of the season the Rams and Bruins took to the field to battle again. The Rams fell behind early to the Bruins and ultimately lost 6-0. With the loss the Rams finish the regular season with a record of 5-8-3, while the Bruins move to 13-6.
The Bruins jumped out in front of the Rams early as they scored in the second minute to take the lead. The Rams would find it hard to muster up any attack against the Bruins throughout the first half. The Bruins would score two more goals in the final 10 minutes of the half to take a 3-0 lead.
The Rams would come out of the break looking to get on the board as they were able to take a couple shots, but they just couldn't find the back of the net. The Bruins would go on to score three more goals in the half to win the game by a final score of 6-0.
The Rams registered five shots, with three being on goal...Alanna Battermann, Janie Holland, Sotiria Tsilionis, and Naomi Reed all had shots for the Rams...Sam Wammock had two saves on the night.
The Rams will be back in action next Friday as they take part in the NCCAA South Region Tournament. The Rams will face off against John Wesley University at 6 p.m. The winner of the tournament will advance to the NCCAA DI National Championships.
