Wilkerson is her first year as the Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant after graduating summa cum laude in May of 2023 from CIU with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications & Bible . Before becoming a graduate assistant, Wilkerson spent the 2022-2023 school as the CIU athletics communications intern. Her role included preseason interviews with coaches, photography, graphic design, and writing postgame recaps for women’s soccer, women’s basketball, and baseball
As an undergraduate student, Wilkerson was a four-year member member of the Rams’ softball team. During the 2021 season, she was named to the NCCAA Softball World Series All-Tournament Team during CIU's historic World Series run. Wilkerson holds the CIU softball career record of home runs with 11.
Before her collegiate years, Wilkerson attended Berkeley High School in Moncks Corner, S.C., where she graduated with honors in 2019. She was also a part of the softball team, where she was named to the 5A All-Region Team 2017-2019, 5A All-State Team 2018-2019, and 2018 All-Lowcountry First Team. Wilkerson was also an active National Honors Society, Student Government Association, and Beta Club member.
