PIKEVILLE, Ky. - CIU women's basketball concluded the 2024-2025 season on Saturday afternoon as the Rams came up short versus one of the top teams in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC), Pikeville University 84-36 (18-8, 17-5 AAC).

CIU trailed 23-12 after a Magdalena Mihaljevic triple in the second quarter but would fall behind 42-21 before the first-half horn sounded.

The Rams struggled to find the bottom of the net in the second half but saw a spark from Katlynn Chinn, who scored five fourth-quarter points.

Mihaljevic scored 11 points while pulling down six rebounds. Chinn concluded a solid freshman campaign by scoring eight, while Mariah Leinbach posted six on the afternoon. Jessica North crashed the boards, pulling down ten rebounds.

CIU women's basketball return to the court in the fall of 2025.
