COLUMBIA, S.C. - CIU esports has started off the spring season well, with both the Overwatch and Rocket League teams picking up victories this week. Rocket League picked up a 3-1 (2-1, 4-2, 2-5, 5-0) win over Western Kentucky on Monday, while Overwatch notched a 3-0 win over Clemson (S.C.).

Rocket League Game Summary: Carter Willis led the Rams with six goals over the course of the Rams' four games; notably, Willis picked up a hat trick in game two. Casey Feaster had a well-rounded performance for CIU, totaling four saves, three goals, and three assists. Campbell Miller rounded out the Rams' success with three goals and two assists. The Rams will be back in action Monday, Feb. 13 at 7 PM versus Siena Heights (Mich.).

Overwatch Game Summary: CIU Overwatch brought Clemson University to its knees with a quick 3 - 0 shutout. CIU did not give a single moment for Clemson to get its footing as Zelos (Harry Potter) led the charge against CIU's in-state opponent. CIU moves on undefeated to battle against Central Florida this coming Tuesday, Feb. 14, at 7 PM.
