The Columbia International University Women's Basketball team was looking to finish their home schedule off right with a win over the Cavaliers of Montreat College. The Rams and Cavaliers were evenly matched all game as the Rams were hoping to send the seniors off with a win, but a last second three point play gave the Cavaliers a 57-56 victory.

1st Quarter Highlights:

• The Cavaliers jumped out to an early 5-0 lead, but the Rams first points came off a three by Kiara Austin
• The Rams would then tie the game at five on a jumper by Lakelyn Malovic
• The Cavaliers would answer with a three of their own to jump back in front
• With just under two minutes left in the quarter the Rams were back within two on a layup by Jordan Sprueill
• The Rams closed the quarter out with a three by Keniah Watkins, but trailed 15-14 after ten minutes

2nd Half Highlights:

• A free throw by Sprueill tied the game just nine seconds into the quarter
• It would be over three minutes until the Cavaliers got on the board
• The two teams would go back and forth with the Rams pulling within two twice
• With three minutes left in the half the Rams tied the game at 21 on a jumper by Watkins
• The Rams would take a 23-21 lead into the half thanks to two free throws by Sprueill

3rd Quarter Highlights:

• The Cavaliers tied the game to start the quarter, but a jumper by Larissa Lee gave the Rams the lead back
• An 8-0 run by the Cavaliers would put them back in front of the Rams
• The Rams would score the next five points to pull back within one of the Cavaliers
• With just over a minute left in the quarter the Rams regained the lead on a three by Queeneka Howard
• At the end of thirty minutes the Rams were ahead 35-34

4th Quarter Highlights:

• The Rams and Cavaliers matched point for point to begin the quarter
• The Cavaliers would regain the lead however, on five straight points
• A three by Watkins would tie the game at 47 with 4:35 left in the game
• The teams would go back and forth sharing leads and tying, but with two minutes left a three by Lee gave the Rams the lead back
• With thirty seconds left the Cavaliers tied the game at 54, but Howard drove right down the court to give the Rams their lead back
• The Cavaliers worked the ball down the court and scored a layup and sunk a free throw to take a 57-56 lead
• The Rams last shot rang off the iron and the Rams fell 57-56
