Rams Winning Streak Comes to an End
Denmark, SC -- The Columbia International University women's basketball team came into tonight's game on a two game winning streak and were playing some of their best ball late in the season. The Voorhees College Tigers were looking to pick up a win on their home court as they honored their seniors tonight. The Rams hit a roadblock tonight as the Rams struggled from the field and the Tigers won 72-46.

How it Happened:
- The two teams struggled in the first quarter as they went back and forth, but the Tigers took a 9-7 lead over the Rams.
- The Rams and Tigers continued to match each other basket for basket as the Rams scored 12 points in the quarter, while the Tigers scored 14. At the half the Tigers led 23-19.
- The third quarter was a struggle for the Rams as the Tigers found their shooting stroke and the Rams struggled to continue to keep up with them. At the end of the third quarter the Tigers were up 50-33.
- The Tigers continued to score in the fourth quarter even though the Rams tried to keep up the Tigers had already built a commanding lead that was hard to overcome. Unfortunately, for the Rams the winning streak came to an end.

- The Rams shot 25% (15-of-60) from the field and were just 5-of-18 from the three point line
- Raven Fleming and Jordan Spruell had 13 points each
- Fleming also chipped in seven rebounds, while Spruell pulled down five boards
- Zeleria Simpson just missed a double-double as she had 11 points and nine rebounds

- Ca'Washa Ceasar led the Tigers with 17 points

- Columbia International will have off until next Wednesday when the Rams host Hiwassee College at 5:30 p.m. That will also be senior night as the Rams will honor Berther Ondiek, Angel Simpson, Victoria Dickerson, and Raven Fleming.
